Saturday, October 12th: No Deal. No debt ceiling increase. Collins plan did not pass. House of Representatives is stepping back. Obama will have to cut his spending and will have to live within his means. GOP forced Clinton to live within his means, Obama will have to do the same.
Republicans are winning:
1. they are leading in the generic ballot
2. they have 18% advantage among independents
3. 58-37% the nations is saying: we do not want any more debt, do not increase the debt ceiling
All of this statistics shows that if an election were to be held today, GOP would win by a landslide.
GOP made a number of good faith offers and only got “NO” in return.
GOP has the strings of the purse and needs to stand strong. No more offers until October 18th. They have to call Obama’s bluff, which is a win -win situation for GOP and for the nation as a whole.
If Obama pays the debts and cuts his spending: it is a win and the nation will save additional trillion dollars per year in additional debt. It is good for the GOP and it is good for the nation.
If Obama does not pay the interest on the US debt out of spite, even though the money is there, then he violates the 14th amendment and will be removed from office. One way or the other this will be a win for both the GOP and for the nation.
Call your GOP representatives and senators and tell them not to make any more offers until October 18th, after Obama’s artificial red line.

In an 53-45 vote, the Senate failed to win the 60 votes necessary to advance the debt-limit measure to a floor debate. The bill would increase the federal debt by an estimated $1.1 trillion. Every Democrat supported the measure, though Reid switched his vote at the end to preserve the right to bring the motion up for another vote later. Republicans criticized the legislation as politically transparent. Sen. Susan Collins (Maine) and two other…Rep. Richard Hudson (R-N.C.) said Boehner told members in a closed-door meeting Saturday morning that there is “no deal” and “no negotiations” going on with the White House. The leadership is still waiting for more engagement from President Obama

That is great! Good for the House and Senate!
Are they getting it, yet?
Hang tough, House and Senate…don’t let Reid or anyone else change your minds! Your decision was very much needed now!
There’s plenty to pay bills, with probably plenty left over, if the rest isn’t wasted on duplicate/wasteful programs! Bravo!

The rinocrats stood together and prevented cloture on this by 53 – 45
I am hopeful that obama will not blink as his tyrannical despotism takes control of him!!!
I believe he cannot blink because he knows his presidency is over if he does.
If he doesn’t blink and the stalemate continues for a long, long time (if the rinocrats develop a backbone) the country may yet survive as ppublic opinion will continue to destroy obama; 37% approval will plummet further.
