Give Lew what he wants, send him a balanced budget with no debt ceiling increase and tell him to cut spending and balance and budget!

Secretary of Treasury Jack Lew appeared on FOX and was interviewed by Chris Wallace. Wallace noted that we always had “dirty” continuing resolutions, meaning with strings attached. As a matter of fact Democrats have attached strings 4 times more than Republicans. There is nothing new here.

What we have the first time in the U.S. history, is a U.S. President who says that he will not negotiate. This is unprecedented. The debt incurred by Obama is unprecedented in the U.S. history.

Lew said that the Congress is supposed to give President the budget. Well, then how come we did not have any budget for 5 years since Obama took office. Furthermore, the Congress has to provide the President a budget, but has no obligation to raise the debt ceiling so the President will be able to incur more debt, particularly after he incurred in 5 years nearly as much debt as was incurred in 230 years by 42 presidents.

Republicans have to move the discussion to their turf and present the public and Obama and Reid and Lew with a balanced budget and no debt ceiling increase and tell him: you already incurred an unprecedented debt, no more.

Let Lew and Obama and Reid come up with a counter offer.   Let them explain to the American people why Obama can’t live within his means, why he should be allowed to double the U.S. National debt, why he should be allowed to spend 100 million on one trip to Africa, when he cuts 1-2 million by closing the White House to American people. Let Obama explain, why does he need half a million more federal employees than Clinton had. Why should the american taxpayers pay the federal employees double than what is paid for comparable jobs in the private sector. Let the public weigh on it, move the debate to your territory.

By presenting Obama and Reid with a balanced budget the GOP will be on the offensive and it will put the Democrats on the defensive.
