    >BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, look at me. Look at the radio. Or your computer, your app when you’re listening. This is a perfect illustration. If I had a theme today, this would be a perfect illustration of it. “Last week, as the prospect of a federal government shutdown loomed as reality, the President of the United States told the media that he would ‘not negotiate’ with ‘house burners.’ And with that, the American mainstream media threw away their longstanding belief in ‘civil bipartisan compromise’ in order to stand with Obama.” That’s a Breitbart lead to a story. What…
  • Stock market shaken by shutdown — but debt default would be much worse (GOOD! Shut ‘er down!)

The stock market is getting a little bumpy as the government shutdown wears on, but if Congress pushes a deadline on the federal debt limit in two weeks, you can buckle up for something much scarier — maybe even a replay of the 2008 financial crisis. The difference: The shutdown, a dispute over the federal budget and the new health care law, will probably take a small bite out of economic growth. Messing with the debt limit would alarm investors around the world who lend the United States trillions of dollars. Dan Greenhaus, chief global strategist for the brokerage BTIG,…
  • EXCLUSIVE: Less than 1 per cent of Web visitors are signing up for Obamacare

As President Obama’s signature health insurance overhaul effort began to enroll new participants on Monday, some states running their own insurance exchanges saw huge levels of website traffic but paltry interest in signing up. California, the ultimate blue state whose federal lawmakers voted overwhelmingly in support of Obamacare, turned less than 1 per cent of its Web visits into ‘Covered California’ participants on Tuesday. ‘We had over 5.7 million hits to our website as of 3 p.m. yesterday,’ Covered California spokeswoman Kelsey Caldwell told MailOnline Wednsday. ‘7,700 consumers began their application process yesterday. … 4,143 applications are pending,’ she added….

Obamacare – cheapest plan (bronze) will cost on average $300 per month. What they don’t mention is the Deductible, which is $5000-$6000 /yr.

So you spend $8000 – $9000 before you get a cent of benefit.

Only a Moron would sign up for this. Therefore, 100% liberal enrollment .

We should use Obama’s fake Connecticut Social Security number and his Chicago address to sign up for Obamacare and send him the bills for the fees we shouldn’t have to pay.

From the article entitled “Former OMB director Stockman: Republicans should reject debt ceiling increase without conditions.

    https://www.moneynews.com/StreetTalk/Stockman-Obama-debt-ceiling/2013/10/03/id/529064

When Treasury secretary Jacob Lew claims the government won’t be able to pay all its bills if the debt limit isn’t raised by October 17, he’s “bluffing,” Stockman said. “That’s the line of the big government party.” The government has revenue of $250 billion/month, enough to pay debt interest, social security, armed forces’ salaries and Medicare, Stockman says. “It is a complete red herring to say there will be a default,” he said. “There will never be a time in which there is not enough cash to pay the interest.”

If you REALLY want to laugh, check out the third “EXCLUSIVE” link and read everybody’s replies. When I got to the photo of Alex Trebek and the writer posted: “Alex, I’ll take phony accounts for 100!” I burst out laughing.

I predicted last week that I bet nobody would sign up for it. Who has ANY money to sign up for this garbage? Right, I have an extra $600.00 per month to pay for something I’ll never use. I don’t have $6.00 at the end of the month to get something off the dollar menu at McDonald’s. EVERYBODY lives week-to-week and our budgets are stretched to the hilt.
