Ex-Gay Pride Month Highlights 10 Day Road Trip to Washington, D.C. to Demand Equal Protection Under the Law for Former Homosexuals
Dr. Douglas McIntyre is a husband. He is a father of three children. He is a grandfather of four grandchildren. He also happens to be a former homosexual and the Co-Founder of the oldest and longest running ministry that helps individuals with unwanted same-sex attraction leave homosexuality, Homosexuals Anonymous. Most importantly, he is mad as HE*L and is NOT going to take it anymore!
“For too long gay activists have silenced us, marginalized our voices, and cut us out of the conversation. While they preach tolerance for gays, they routinely practice discrimination towards former homosexuals like myself who have taken a different path,” commented McIntyre.
In response to the recent anti-ex-gay extremism, McIntyre is organizing a 10 Day Road Trip starting in Dallas, TX on July 21: “I’m organizing a 10 Day Road Trip to Washington, DC called ‘Grandpa Goes to Washington’ and I’m stopping in 10 cities along the way to hold rallies and draw attention to the homo-facism in this country – the bullying from gay activists who say only one viewpoint on homosexuality can be tolerated. I’m also doing this for the next generation of young people, including my four grandchildren, who are now being inundated by ‘kids cartoons’ such as SheZow, the new cartoon that is being promoted by the activists who say that being Transgender is cool, but counseling to overcome same-sex attractions and/or changing sexual orientations is harmful. This nonsense has got to stop!”
On July 31, the trip will culminate in Washington, DC, and Dr. McIntyre is calling all former homosexuals, individuals with unwanted same-sex attractions, and their families, friends, and allies to join him as he lobbies Congress to demand tolerance and protection from the threats and harassment that is being waged against former homosexuals. Obama has been an advocate for gay conduct and taken a firm stance against anyone who wants to leave the gay way of life. He sees them as traitors and just like The Zimmerman case, even if they find God and repent he still wants to make the recovering gay individuals life a living hell!
