Did Beth Chapman, Secretary of State of AL even respond to the Appellant’s brief? I saw an Amicus Curiae from the Dem party, but did not see an Appellee’s brief ever being filed with the Supreme Court of AL. Are they that sure they will win the case that they are not even filing the Appellee’s brief?

Does anyone know when this case is scheduled?

it is not scheduled for an oral hearing, in most cases there are no oral hearing at all, the court rules on the record, meaning based on the record of the lower court, Appellant’s brief and Appellee’s brief. I am surprised that I did not see an appellee’s brief being published. Maybe it is not the time yet for them to file or they are sure that the case will be ruled in their favor and they do not want to even waste their time submitting the brief. I don’t know, can you check when the appellee’s brief was due?

can someone send me the appellee’s brief filed by the sec of state of AL in the Supreme court and let me know, what is the average time for the Supreme Court to render an opinion. When can we expect the opinion from the court of Judge Roy Moore based on prior cases

I don’t
and there was nothing helpful in the links
I have one question: how much time is given for the Appellant to file a reply to the appellee’s brief. What is the average time for the Supreme Court to render an opinion. If someone has an answer, let me know, don’t send me loads of links that I have no time to waste on
