    Dear Orly,

    I suspedct all British birth certificates should all look the same around the ‘Empire’ or Common wealth. They are wider than they are long – slightly smaller than an A4 in Landscape. With a crown on the top and at the centre.

    As I remarked previously, there may well be copies of most birth certificates in the Church of Latter Day Saints repository in Utah. You can search their database on-line. I haven’t done so because I don’t have the next of kin details or even the correct spelling.

    Good luck,
    Andy

    Orly;

    I would think that you would also want some samples of other people’s ‘CERTIFIED COPY OF REGISTRATION OF BIRTH’ from Coast Province – Kenya. This could differ greatly from an actual BIRTH CERTIFICATE, no?
