when it is time to go to the hill again we need to have news people there and or a citizen camera person or crew…just a thought.. a picture is worth a thousand words….that article i just read from the huffy bloat is a typical left wing rant omg…the way they try and discredit truth is amazing…..also just thought we need to form a group of military and police personal willing to go there to make a citizens arrest…plausible??? Michele Bachman is my hero…from day 1 if you served her I know she will press but the power above her is limited by the committe head…I believe…also we could always do like all states have a right to do and that is a recall of all senators and congressman.. I believe it was Louisianna did it with 1000 signatures its a 180 day wait but that may get these outright theives of office serious attention…they sure dont represent me…….. |

one can file a recall in louisiana but you have to get at least 10% (if i remember right) of the registered voters and you have 180 days from the date you are certified ..
at least thats how it was when we tried to remove a local chief of police some years ago
will

A recall petition sounds great, especially if it’s circulated when the non-representing rep (NRR) shows up a a town hall meeting during this congressional recess. That will rattle his cage!
I’m going to try it!

I totally agree, we need now to recall all our elected federal officials, and also all state governors who will not sign on to quo warrento actions…

This is agreat way to promote real change: lets harness the outrage expressed at the Tea Party Days, and Schedule a
National Recall your Congressman Day
to Start actions in all 50 states to recall all Senators and Reps. There could be a list of grievances to which every congressmant has offended in some manner, with a resolution to recall the tyrannts…Each state is different, but the numbers at the Tea Partys is more than enough to get the recalls going on strong…there could even be a sort of competition between states for the greatest number of signatures gathered to recall a congressman. Might as well make it fun…!
When the fire is under their but, they might join in a Quo Warrento against Obama, or admit that his is not NBC….

I suggest September 17th, the anniversary of the ratification of the US Constitution…

The Quo Warranto tie-in and grievance list are great ideas. I have a contact who can help me understand the recall process and write an official petition to initiate the process.
Can someone post a Quo Warranto letter that can be delivered to the Congress Critter? A refusal adds a grievance to the petition.
I’ll post the petition as soon as I get it written along with whatever are my state’s rules for forming a proper petition. I’m not sure, but I think I can do this in less tan a week.
We can share grievance statements and learn how to effectively phrase them. For my spontaneous and very crude example,
– Whereas you voted for HR 2454, American Clean Energy and Security (ACES) Act, without reading the contents of the bill;
– Whereas ….;
Be it now resolved by We the People who have signed this petition
that xxxx be removed from office
I love the idea of a contest.
On September 12th there is a march to Washington. That might be the time to present pink slips!
Let’s “git ‘er done”!

Snag encountered: you get 1000 signatures on a recall petition. You go to file it to get a ballot title and official recognition to go for 90,000 signatures to be placed on the next ballot. “There’s no place to file it”, my contact says. The Secretary of State won’t file it because it doesn’t correspond to an existing recall statute. Why don’t you go for a term limit or recall amendment or statute first?
