Why we cannot burry our heads in the sand in the face of radical Islam and Mahmud Ahmadinejad and why we can’t vote Ron Paul for president

Posted on | September 9, 2011 | 5 Comments

Though I believe, that Ron Paul has good ideas on the need to cut governmental spending and audit the Fed, I  cannot in good conscience support his bid for Pres. I believe, there is a place for him in a Republican administration, as a secretary of Health and Human services (as a medical doctor, he is a great candidate for this position), maybe even a position, dealing with economy, but his views on foreign policy are just dangerous.

Some of his supporters are saying: we need to think about ourselves, we don’t care, what others do, we don’t care if Mahmud Ahmadinejad is developing nukes. We are not members of Muslim race, what do we care.

This is a very dangerous approach. We were not members of the Arian race, we were not Japanese, when we were attacked at Pearl Harbor and when Germany and Japan slaughtered millions of other races.
The whole point of radical Islam, is slaughter of people of other races-Christians are number one target, as they are seen as crusaders.

So, I am sure Ron Paul is a good man, I am sure he is a good doctor, but in terms of foreign policy he is naive. As such I will not support Ron Paul for Pres. I will not speculate about candidates, who did not enter the race. I got multiple e-mails about Sarah Palin. I refuse to speculate  about her run, specifically because she is not running. Even if she were to run, according to polling data, she would not fare well. According to most polls she would be fourth or third at best. I believe, that her run might be counter productive for conservatives, as it will take the votes from front runner Perry and will give the win to Romney by default. I believe more liberal old party establishment is baiting Palin to run.

I have another concern. There is an attorney by name Peter Singleton, he gave a number of interviews lately, stating that now he is a volunteer in Palin headquarters in Iowa . I talked to him at Sharon Angle’s headquarters, he used to be a volunteer in Sharon Angle’s headquarters in Las Vegas. I have no clue, who is supporting this person, how he is making his living.  Now he and Carl Rove are repeatedly talking about potential Palin run, even though Palin is undecided. They both are pushing for Palin run.

I have to say, I used to give people a lot of credit and typically used to come out of  the premise that most people are generally good. the last 2 years taught me to be much more suspicious and much more careful in my assertions.

I  have real reservations about this attorney, Peter Singleton. I don’t know, if he really helped Sharon Angle. When I talked to him, he presented himself as one of my biggest supporters. He even offered to drive me to the airport, but when I analyze his promises of help and assistance, I have to say, that he did nothing.

We know, that each candidate has aids, gate keepers, who have the ear of this candidate, who can send to circular file some correspondence, but you don’t know, if those aids are helping or hurting. Same goes for attorneys-law clerks for judges. I am afraid, that Palin’s gate keepers are advising her poorly, pushing her to do things, that might be detrimental for her and for the conservative movement. I believe, it might benefit Palin to meet with top candidates and come to an understanding for future.

I am getting multiple e-mails regarding possible run of Hillary Clinton. Again, at this point it is much ado about nothing. If she announces her run, I’ll talk about it.

At this point we have 3 candidates, who are consistently polled at the top: Perry, Romney and Bachmann. I like job creating ideas of Buddy Roemer, but unfortunately his campaign did not take of. I believe, that there is nothing wrong with learning from each other and agreeing on job creating ideas. For example Romney came up with a 59 point plan. There is nothing wrong with Bachmann and Perry agreeing on important points of this plan: repeal Obamacare, develop all of our oil and gas resources, asses tariffs on products from China, due to their currency manipulation and in order to incentivize manufacturing in US. I, also, believe, there is an advantage of top tier candidates reaching out to bottom tier candidates, getting an understanding, narrowing the field and saving resources for the general election.

I like Ron Paul, I voted for him back in the ’08 primary, but he will not be receiving my vote this year as he has ignored Obama’s ineligibility for the last 3 years, I don’t trust him any longer, that goes for Bachmann as well.

Palin would be a detriment to the conservative cause? This woman lives and breaths the stuff! What is wrong with you people?

I challenge any true conservative to name ONE position or policy that Palin has taken, and currently holds, that they do not agree with! And I’m not talking about the liberal moron from Saturday night live, either. They are not the same people, geniuses!

Let her get out there and mix it up with these puppets. Romney and Perry are ” Bought and Sold”! She will beat them on this issue alone, not to mention the other numerous problems they have in policy.

“Polls are for stippers and skiers” Palin said in a recent speech. These words couldn’t be more true! If the American public would educate themselves on how these polls are conducted, they would see that most of them are skewed to the position of the organization conducting them. In other words, they don’t mean squat!

Let the woman run, and stop piling on and adding to the B.S.! If there’s any person that deserves a chance it’s Sarah Palin. She’s certainly shown she has more balls
than any candidate running right now!

The constant attacks on this woman from both sides, are truly disgusting!
