Update, tech help needed

Posted on | September 1, 2011 | 2 Comments

After my yahoo account was hijacked, I was able to recapture the account, change the password and restore 6,419 e-mail addresses on contact list.

There are 3 functions, that I did not restore yet.

1. I need to restore groups: attorneys, supporters, members of Congress

2. I need to restore the message on my yahoo e-mails. Hackers erased my phone and fax numbers from the message.

3. I need to switch from the new yahoo to old yahoo, that is more convenient for me

I don’t remember, how to do it.  Please, call me at 949-683-5411 or e-mail me at orly.taitz@gmail.com, let me know, how to do this

thank you,

Orly

    Orly—

I got an e-mail this morning (Sept. 1, 2011) saying it was from YOU—stating that you were in Wales and your purse had been stolen. The e-mail was asking for financial help so you could get home. (I forwarded this e-mail to you a few moments ago).

If you weren’t in “Wales”, then possibly someone could check the e-mail I sent you, and see WHERE it came from!

    Orly,

The most likely way your account was compromised was by someone guessing your password or running a wordlist attack (the other way would be to gain control of yahoo itself, which is unlikely). Never use a real word as your password, or even one that is a real word with numbers at the end. It’s just too easy for someone to let their computer chug away until it finds your password. Throwing some numbers in the middle of your password is good, characters like “$” or “%” in it are good, and it should really be fairly long to avoid brute force attacks (where the attacker’s computer guesses every combination of characters). Hope this helps. I’ve given you my real email address if you need help with anything in the future.
