Is Giuliani’s speech at Cornell’s commencement, a hint of impending presidential run.

Posted on | June 10, 2011 | 3 Comments

I had an opportunity to hear Giuliani’s speech. First of all, what is important, is a shift to the right. Last year Pelosi was the commencement speaker at Cornell, this is year id a Republican, Giuliani. Cornell, as all the IVYs and academia in general is to the left of Lenin, so the shift was significant. I guess the general unemployment among young American professionals ended the love affair with Obama and his communist cohorts and young people started thinking of more reasonable choices for American presidency.

Giuliani started with a joke about Schumer (as in Senator Chuck schumer from NY). He joked that Repubs and Dems can work together, that Schemer loves the lime light so much, that he even pushed Hillary of the stage and Giuliani caught her. He added, “Don’t tell this in South Carolina, or they will not vote for me”

this was the signal and I started listening more attentively.

I actually believe that Giuliani might be a better choice for the Republican party.

first and for most Giuliani will be up tp par or better than Romney to draw independents and moderate Democrats, however Giuliani has 2 advantages, that Romney does not seem o have:

a. he has charisma

b. he does not have the baggage of instituting a health car reform, as Romney does and Giuliani will be using Obamacare as an ace in his deck.

While many believe that Giuliani is less qualified, than ones, who served as governors or senators, let me remind you, that Giuliani was elected mayor of one of the largest cities in the world. NY has around 19 million people. As far as the states go, only 2 states have larger population: California and Texas, so based on demographics, NY city can be the third largest state in the union.

More people voted for Guiulliani, than for Romney, who was a governor of a state with about 6 million people.

In general i am not exited about any candidate, but bottom line no one can be worse than Obama, so we need to pick among the ones, that are available.

Giuliani has a good track record of job creation and fighting crime. He became a national figure on 9/11. I believe, that if Giuliani engages a good campaign manager and a good write, not that wingnut John Avalon, he will be a very strong candidate with the best chances to beat Obama.

In his speech he talked about his work with Reagan and mentioned, that on of the strength of Reagan was his conviction and knowledge, that he was doing the right thing. He talked about the leadership style, that embodies and incorporates: conviction, optimism, great communication skills, ability to work in a team.

I believe, this is important for every one of you, as we are fighting  the biggest crime, that is being perpetrated right before our eyes, aka usurpation of the US president by an individual with forged birth certificate, stolen social security card and other fraudulent    vital records.

You have to have a conviction to know, that you are doing the right thing. Good trumps evil and you have to succeed and evn.

As far as Giuliani goes; we’ll have to wait and see.

Jeffrey has to be a liberal. You can tell by the vulgar 4 letter words. A typical trait of the left. At least the man he criticizes has a great command of the English language and a much better speaker and communicator than Obama. Giuliani is a good man. He handled things quite well on 9/11. If the Gov of TX decides to run, that is another good choice. It is over a year before election time. More may jump into the running, like Allen West if his district in FL releases him from his commitment to them as their senator. I am sure by election time, we will have a very good candidate in the running who will beat Obama hands down, if Obama isn’t in prison by then. With Orly’s pursuit of exposing Obama proceeding so well and rapidly, I think the dems will have to come up with a new rat to put in the race.
