Another really bad thing happened- my first cousin disappeared. I need help in finding him

Posted on | June 2, 2011 | 14 Comments

His picture is below. His name is Baruch Awerbach, he was a professor of computer science at MIT, later professor in John Hopkins, he is 53 years old, his last address was 1812 Greenspring Dr., Lutherville MD 21093.  About 6 years ago he married a woman about 20 years younger, than him. Her name is Hana Zingerova. She is originally from Ukraine, lived for a short time in Israel. She works as a nurse in a psychiatric hospital. About two years ago he started getting weak. About a year and a half ago he left John Hopkins university. His wife did not want him to be in touch with anybody. She wanted him to take some medication for depression. About a year ago all contacts   with him ended. Nobody in the family or friends had any contact with him for about a year. Recently his young wife initiated a legal action to gain guardianship over him. The family hired an investigator. The investigator could not find him anywhere. We do not know, if he is alive. We hope he is alive, but we do not know where, in what shape. If you can help in any way, please contact me at 949-683-5411. I hope we can find him alive.

It is terrible to have a family member missing, and not know where they are. I believe Michelle Malkin is still looking for her niece.

I hope you get some answers.

The Lutherville property was last sold May 12, 2008. Who’s living there now?

If you feel your cousin is in danger, Orly, you should consider hiring a licensed private investigator to try to determine his physical whereabouts. It would also probably be a good idea to seek the advice of a Maryland family law attorney.
    Good luck with this.
