Extremely important, your help is needed to support AZ presidential eligibility bill

Posted on | April 16, 2011 | 4 Comments

I would like to explain, what is going on in AZ. AZ procedure of approving bills differs from Presidential approval, which many reporters, even National network reporters do not understand.

In federal government if the President does not approve a bill, such bill dies. That is called “executing a pocket veto”. In AZ the law is opposite. If  the Governor does not sign a bill, it automatically becomes law. The only way the Governor can prevent a bill from becoming a law, is by vetoing it. Governor Brewer has 5 business days to veto a bill. If legislative session ends before the end of the veto period, she has 10 extra days.

There were reports of Jan Brewer sending a trial baloon and saying that she does not know, what she will do. I believe it is just rhetoric, since she knows that AZ iz a heavily Republican state, this bill got an overwhelming support by all of the Republican State Representatives and senators and she knows that vetoing this bill will be her political suicide and will make her a persona non grata in AZ or anywhere else  for that matter. With that being said and done, we cannot leave anything to chance. God helps ones, who help themselves. So, here is an action item for the next 5 days.

AZ assembly is supposed to end on Thursday, the day Brewer is supposed to let the bill become law. I’ve heard that Speaker of the House, Kirk Adams, might be pulling a trick and ending the session a day early, which will give Brewer 10 more days. We don’t want this. We want her to either sign the bill by Thursday ar simply sit on it and do nothing by Thursday, we don’t want to give Obama operatives extra ten does to exert undue influence on her.  So, what  can you do?

1. Call the Speaker of the House Kirk Adams and demand that he does not play any dirty tricks and does not end the session a day early .

2. Call each and every state rep and state senator and demand that they do not end the session a day early

3. Call  and visit the office of Governor Jan Brewer and let her know that we expect her not to violate her oath of office and to support this bill, which supports the Constitution. Please, let her know and let the Speaker of the House Kirk Adams know, that if they play dirty tricks and go against the overwhelming will of the people, and kill this bill, we will start an immediate campaign to recall them and will kick them out of office and will end their careers very quickly.   And, please be polite, let them know that it is not a threat, but a plan of action to preserve the Constitution of this Nation and protect National security.

I will be doing a prime time radio show in AZ within a few days and I am making phone calls to Brewer’s legal counsel and legislative affairs adviser, I will be doing my part, rest assured.

Arizona Secretary of State accepts Obama certificate
Presidential Election, Birth Certificate, Birther Politics

    Ken Bennett
In a Phoenix NBC affiliate interview, Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett examined a copy of President Obama’s published Certification of Live Birth and said that its contents meet the requirements of the Arizona birther bill, HB2177, which was passed by the Arizona house last Thursday and is headed to the governor for signature. Bennett stated the hospital, physician and witness signatures mentioned in the bill are not absolute requirements, but only required “if applicable”. Bennett stated that as important as the birth certificate itself is, the accompanying certification of the copy is equally important. [The copy Bennett was shown lacked a visible seal and the stamp on the back was not reproduced.]

The language Bennett used most likely references what is called an apostille birth certificate, the type of certificate he works with in his official capacity. The apostille birth certificate is a certified copy of a birth certificate accompanied by an additional certification letter from a competent authority (typically a secretary of state in the US). Apostille certificates are normally issued for legal documents used internationally. Bennett in his role as Arizona Secretary of State would be familiar with birth certificates and apostilles, unlike the average state legislator.
