FOX reported today, that the Republican party Big Wigs are planning a meeting with the Republican candidate for Governor of CO-Maese, in order to persuade him to drop out from the race, in order not to split the vote with a former Republican congressman Tom Tancredo, who is running on a Constitution party ticket.
Currently Maese has 12%, Tancredo 38, their Dem opponent -42, rest are undecided.
With the combined vote Tancredo will have his magic 50% assured, and even if undecided voters are split down the middle, he will be assured at least 54%. Tancredo is an unapologetic Constitutionalist, or “birther” according to Obama camp. He repeatedly stated that Obama needs to unseal his original long form BC. With 2 birthers: Nathan Deal in GA and Tom Tancredo in CO running strong, at least one of them is bound to win governorship, which makes Obama’s next run for presidency all but impossible. Additional bonus, this will help the campaign of the senatorial candidate, Ken Buck. Joint front of Maese and tancredo will help Buck.
I hope Mike Steele will have some common sense to do the same in Alaska. While there is no chance of a Democrat winning in Alaska, Lisa Murkowski campaign is draining valuable resources of both the Republican party and the tea party movement. These resources will be much better utilized in NV, helping Sharron Angle. What about an offer for Lisa Murkowski to head the National Republican women Federated? Something along these lines?
Interestingly enough Mike Castle in De, running a write in campaign, is actually helping Christine O’Donnell. He seems to be pulling votes from his Dem opponent Chris Coons, so run Mike, run! Though O’Donnell is doing her best, I am skeptical about her win at this point, but anything can happen, of course.

This can only help Tancredo:
