It’s back! And this time A U.S. Senator is lending credence to the idea that the President is not a U.S. citizen.

Sen. David Vitter, R-LA, at a town hall meeting in Metairie, Louisiana, on July 11, was asked by a constituent what he would do about Obama’s “refusal to produce a valid birth certificate.”

Vitter responded that, although he himself is not in a position to bring legal action, he supports “conservative legal organizations and others who would bring that to court.”

“”I think that is the valid and most possibly effective grounds” to get to the truth about Obama’s birth certificate and the nation of his birth.

The birther controversy bubbled up during the Presidential election campaign of 2008, when Orly Taitz, a dentist and a lawyer, claimed that Obama was born in Kenya, the country of his father, and that he falsified his Selective Service papers and his application to the Illinois bar.

Taitz also produced a Kenyan birth certificate for Obama, a document which was afterwards exposed as a forgery.

Taitz’s claims were taken up by various conservative groups and individuals, and began appearing on Internet sites. The controversy caused the Obama campaign, in June 2008, to make the President’s actual birth certificate public.

The certificate documents the birth of Barack Obama on Aug. 4, 1961 in Hawaii.

Still “the birthers,” as those who believed the conspiracy theory were called, continued to push the matter.

After Obama’s election to the Presidency, several lawsuits were brought, often with Orly Taitz as the attorney, trying to invalidate presidential actions because the President, the suits alleged, was not an American and could not, therefore, be the President.

Taitz brought suit for independent presidential candidate Alan Keyes, for Libertarian vice-presidential candidate Gail Lightfoot, and various other state legislators and military personnel. The cases were either thrown out or are currently awaiting appeal hearings.

I have to say, I did not follow
    the ordeal of Cmdr. Fitzpatrick,
and lost touch with what is going
on with him. I just finished reading
a lengthy interview he had with Ms.
Rondeau and Post and Email, and it
    is an eye-opener..talk about corruption
    in small towns in America.

His story will give you visions of
    China, Germany/Gestapo, Russia, etc.
It isn’t over, yet..he faces another
trial in November and until then, the
corrupt Judge Ross has issued mandates
forbidding him to do anything to defend
    himself.

The whole Monroe County, TN is in the
pockets of evil men and women.

Only ‘we the people’ can get them out
    of that mess.

He feels that it isn’t limited to TN
but in other parts of the United States.
