My Ballot for California GOP Primary 2010
For what it’s worth, here is how I voted. Discuss.
Governor: Steve Poizner The most viable conservative in the race. Toughest on immigration and taxes. As state insurance commissioner, only one with Sacramento experience. Endorsed by Cong. Tom McClintock, 72% approval of CA Tea Party Poll. Currently kicking insurance company butt trying to hold down increases.
Lt. Governor: Sam Anistad (Absolutely DO NOT vote for RINO Abel Maldonado, email me if you have questions. NO NO ABEL.)
State Controller: Tony Strickland (great conservative, friend of Chuck DeVore, nuff said.)
U.S. Senate: Chuck Devore The only conservative in this race, the only one clean enough to beat Boxer. The next Ronald Reagan, IMO. (Endorsed by Mark Levin, Andrew Breitbart, Glen Beck, George Will, Tom McClintock, Jeff Flake, National Tea Party Express)
Attorney General: John Eastman (endorsed by Mark Levin, Chuck DeVore)
Secretary of State: Orly Taitz (the controversial attorney/dentist who has litigated many of the Obama eligibility issues around the country. She is a Russian immigrant and a great Patriot. Her opponent, Damon Dunn, is the GOP favorite. Dunn has just moved to CA to run for the office and admits never voting until last spring. See my story here.)
Superintendent of Public Instruction: Diane Lenning
( a long-time teacher and conservative, endorsed by many GOP and conservative groups. She needs to be in the top 2 to advance to the general election. This race is populated by big union flacks. Get Diane in there.)
Targeted Congressional Districts:
California Congressional District: 11 (to get rid of Pelosi girly-man Jerry McNerney) David Harmer
California Congressional District: 8 (to get rid of Nancy Pelosi) We have two fine candidates, John Dennis and Dana Walsh. Get behind them. I will back the winner 1000%
California Congressional District: 13 (to get rid of Pete Stark “Raving Mad”) Coach Luis Garcia great conservative
California Congressional District: 6 (to get rid of the Pelosi Puppet Lynn Woolsey) Jim Judd
California Congressional District: 30 (to get rid of Henry “The Rat” Waxman) Ari David
NO on Prop 14 This proposition to begin “open primaries” in California is opposed by ALL the California political parties. Six of them held a news conference to say that it will cause elections to be driven by big money, big union money, big name candidates only. Only the top vote-getters will advance, no write-ins later) No.
NO on Prop 15 This would allow “public funding” of elections. Good heavens, no. No more spending proposals for ANYTHING.
NO on Prop 16 This would raise the votes necessary for cities to get a new electrical service provider to 2/3 majority approval…rather than just a majority now. If you have a smart meter, have you entertained the idea of getting your power from someone OTHER than PGE? Vote NO so it is easier to get a new service provider in your community. PG&E wants you to vote YES. Nuff said?
NO on Prop 17 Big insurance companies want you to vote yes, so they can raise rates as much as $1000 for good drivers.
