We are seeing the government gridlocked yet again. Democrats will not support any of Trump’s agenda. It is time for Senate to act. If Dems cause the government shutdown by refusing funding for the border wall, US senate needs to change the filibuster rules and go for nuclear option, just as they did on Gorsuch confirmation. With nuclear option, meaning no filibuster, GOP can pass the border wall funding and the rest of Trump’s agenda with simple majority vote in both houses. GOP needs to do it now, while GOP has the majority in both houses. We do not know what will happen in next year’s mid-term elections. Moreover, GOP will have a moral superiority in this fight, as GOP will state that the change of rules was a necessity to stop the government shutdown caused by the Democrats. The public will be on the side of the president and GOP, which will cause the approval ratings for the president and the GOP to go up and will allow GOP to gain more seats in next year’s elections.

The wall funding would pay for itself by making Mexico pay the welfare, education, imprisonment, drug dealers and all the other subsidies that U S taxpayers pay for, their people and the other countries people from central America that they allow to freely travel through Mexico to come here. In 2014, DOJ confiscated 4.6 Billion in cash from illegal activities (mostly drug related). Estimates for wall are from a low of 10 Billion to a high of 20 Billion. No need for US to pay for it and no need for border trade retracing excise taxes. Confiscating this cash for wall construction meets the promise of Mexico funding the wall and meets the intent of using confiscated cash for law enforcement.

What the poll does not say is that disapproval could be because they don’t think Pres. Trump is doing ENOUGH. It doesn’t always mean a negative, that they don’t like what he’s doing.

WMAL630AM (in DC) reports this morning that President Trump has backed off on his demand that funding for the wall be included in the current funding resolution so as to avoid a government shutdown which, of course, the liberal media would blame him and the GOP Congress for causing.
Report says he will demand it be included in the Fiscal 2018 Federal Budget bill.

President Trump needs to allow Government shutdown and blame Paul Ryan. Ryan was to do a budget and include the wall, he didn’t, which means he’s NOT up to the job.
The People need to burn the phone lines, esp. McConnell and get this wall funding done.
Trump will hold a rally in PA on Saturday and the people are going to be very disappointed in him. Wonder how he’ll word it to protect the Repubs who have NO INTENTION of putting the wal in the 2018 Budget because by then they’ll be another excuse just like they have an excuse now NOT TO REPEAL Obamacare. Trump is using Obamacare to appease the DEMs.

Fact 1: The democrats still control the appellate
process so no matter what congress does Schumer can veto it there. That is where we are now.
Fact 2: All those on entitlements and special rights are looking for a reason to keep walking down the primrose path. Blaming those in congress who are the answer not the problem for their needs by threatening the deficit spending entitlements could prevent us from making the changes in the congress we need to make in order to break the log jam created by the filibuster and the super majorities required in the senate.

I like all the discussion on what to do with the nwo shadows in our govt…
But we don’t know what President Trump has come across…
Like: has he been threatened? has any of his family been threatened? Maybe we need to pause and find out about what could be his backing off (for now) on various items that he/we want to have fixed?
President Trump, you need to know that there (supposedly) is $$ for the wall that has been appropriated already!
And you need to get to McConnell to tell him to go the nuclear route, ASAP! Then, have them get that wall started and use the nuclear vote for everything that you/we need done, ASAP!
And if McConnell and/or any of the others don’t wan’t to do their jobs, get a discussion going with Sessions to have these people sent court papers, to find out why they can’t do this?
And ask Sessions why can a judge stop an E.O.?
