Citizens for American Sovereignty;
26 June 2014
On Tuesday, 24 June 2014, a meeting was held by the City of Escondido Planning Commission, with the 2nd item on the Agenda being to make a decision on a request by our corrupt U.S. Government to turn an abandoned 96 bed skilled nursing facility building into a half-way house for illegal-aliens, – before they embed themselves into our once-sovereign cities throughout the nation. (the Planning Commission agenda used different terms for what they intend to do, but my translation was obviously understood to most of those who spoke out against it). The STAFF RECOMMENDATION was for ‘Approval’, but the names of these co-conspirators in the Administration’s treason is not yet available.
(From the 6/25/2014 Union Tribune article posted below):
During hours of public testimony, speakers blamed President Obama’s immigration policies for a crisis that has prompted the federal government to search out sites for new shelters to house the growing number of children from Central America who have fled to the U.S. without their parents. (i.e. Illegal-Aliens)
Planning Commission Chairman Jeff Weber repeatedly emphasized that, by law, the panel could only consider local land use issues in deciding whether the site — a former nursing home in southwestern Escondido that closed last year — was appropriate for the center.
I had prepared a 3-minute presentation to be given during the Public Comments period, but because of the number of people who had submitted their application to speak, time was limited to 1 minute each. After an hour’s worth of public comments, I was finally called:
My name is Neil Turner and I’m a 30 year resident of North San Diego County.
You, Commissioners, are no doubt aware that in January of 2014, months before the beginning of this current invasion of over 49,000 illegal-alien minors, the obviously unlawful and unconstitutional Obama Administration placed an ad on an official Government website, FedBizOpps.Gov (Federal Business Opportunities) for “Escort Services for (up to 65,000) Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC)” – to transport these juveniles to Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Shelters throughout the United States. (29 January 2014 screen shot of this ad is attached)
One such location, as we now are discussing here tonight, is the former Palomar Continuing Care facility at 1817 Avenida del Diablo in Escondido.
It is an act of Treason to lend aid and comfort to those who would violate our laws and invade our sovereign Nation’s borders, in direct contravention to our lawfully established immigration laws. We do not have a ‘broken immigration system’, we have a ‘broken immigration law enforcement system, easily fixed by just enforcing the laws.
You are now all aware and on notice that there are ongoing acts of Treason in Progress, led by an unlawful and unconstitutional Administration – that of lending aid and comfort to a Government sanctioned invasion by foreign entities, that is, Unaccompanied Alien Children, into our cities, counties, and country.
It is therefore incumbent upon you, as the sworn public servants of We The People, to do your duty and honor your oaths – by denying local resources from being utilized to aid and abet in federal failures and acts of Treason.
I am pleased to report that by a 7-0 vote, the panel ultimately decided against the project, dutifully saying ‘it could generate more traffic and noise in the neighborhood’, rather than stating that they would not want to be on record for aiding and abetting in this blatant act of TREASON.

ESCONDIDO — The Escondido Planning Commission on Tuesday unanimously rejected a request by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to open a 96-bed shelter in the city that would serve unaccompanied minors who have crossed the border illegally.
Hundreds of people flooded the commission’s meeting at Escondido City Hall, with most urging the panel to block the plan. During hours of public testimony, speakers blamed President Obama’s immigration policies for a crisis that has prompted the federal government to search out sites for new shelters to house the growing number of children from Central America who have fled to the U.S. without their parents.

Things have changed in Escondido since June. The City Council just had a meeting this week and decided to vote on the reopening of the nursing home in October. The ACLU is involved in our business now,and trying to strong arm the residents,and strip us of our rights as US. citizens,and have this passed whether we want it our not. The showing was poor at the meeting for opposition of this reopening. No where near what it was in June. We need to get the word out,and need to sign petitions before the next meeting! I don’t see anywhere that people can go to do that?
Also, I live right down the street from this nursing home and they are doing work on it everyday. Getting it prepared. Looks like it’s a DONE DEAL already! What is going on behind closed doors? Do the people know? We should!
