Apparently in response to the threats by the US, Russians are now claiming that the sale of Alaska from Russia to US was not valid and they want Alaska back. Let’s hope we are not at the brink of WW3

    I knew that the waters in the Arctic were under constant threat due to massive underwater oil reserves but I didn’t know Russia still wanted Alaksa itself.

    Here was a past interesting article regarding territorial disputes. Comical actually that Canada claimed this standing to use in court:

    Its been a while, but I remember reading a Story about Russia placing a Flag at The North Pole And Claiming Ownership… It would be a Strategic move on their Part if They Did want to Take Alaska By Force.
