Was 48 Bishop, Cambridge, MA, where Obama lived, joined with 50 Cambridge MA, as one property, just as Obama’s house in Chicago annexed the property next door? We need all assessor’s records going back to 1980s. I need names and SSNs of people connected to 48 and 50 Bishop

Hi Orly
Bishop Allen Drive is in CAMBRIDGE MA and not Boston MA.
The good news is that there is a website for the assessor’s office in Cambridge:

There are 2 things wrong. There IS NO #48 Bishop Allen Drive. What’s bizarre is that the assessed value
of housing (e.g 50 Bishop Allen Drive, 56 Bishop Allen Drive) is between  $1.100,000 and $1,700,000 !!!!!

    Could it be that #47 and #48 were combined and any structures there demolished for the construction of the parking lot that sits there now, and labeled as #47? The online records do not show previous information as other states/counties do.

    Dr. Taitz,

    I’d say the assessed value is not unreasonable. I have had friends who bought property in Cambridge and Boston, and just 1 floor of a 3 floor flat, goes for 300k to 700k.

    Well I don’t know if this information is of any use but…
    Street addresses often don’t match property tax addresses. So actually #48 Bishop Allen is one of four street addresses taxed as part of #56. It’s an apartment building entirely owned by the Rothman family for at least 20 years. For what it’s worth there were still persons of Kenyan nationality residing at that address recently and maybe still are. But I don’t know if they are any relation or even if the story about Mr Obama staying there is correct. I’ve lived in Cambridge, mostly near Bishop Allen, for 50 years. I was involved in community affairs but never heard of Mr Obama while he was going to Harvard.
