Boehner tilts toward ‘amnesty’; Hires McCain’s Former Open Border Advocate December 04, 2013
There he goes again. House Speaker John Boehner just signaled his willingness to consider an “amnesty” bill after his office hired a longtime policy aide who has advocated legalizing illegal aliens.
Boehner’s office announced Tuesday that it had hired Rebecca Tallent as a point person for immigration issues. Tallent previously was director of immigration policy for the Bipartisan Policy Center — but before that, worked for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and played a role in the drafting of the 2006 and 2007 immigration reform bills, which provided a pathway to legal status for some illegal immigrants.
FAIR, the MS Tea Party and other groups see this as a sign that he would consider an “amnesty” bill, despite Boehner’s pledges that the House and Senate would not try to reconcile the differences between their bills through a process known as “conference.”
Boehner is under heavy pressure from democrats, big business and big agriculture to move toward some form of amnesty.
In mid-November, Boehner ruled out negotiating with the Senate, saying “We have no intention of ever going to conference on the Senate bill.”
On Friday, Obama visited a group of pro-illegal immigration activists staging a hunger strike at the base of Capitol Hill to push for a vote. And last week, the president restated his case in a speech in San Francisco’s Chinatown neighborhood.
Action to Take Now: Call Speaker Boehner at 202-225-6205. Remind him that you vote and are politically active. Let him know how disappointed you are to learn that he is looking our for big business and illegal aliens at the expense of legal American workers. |

Orly,
Yes, good start to call Speaker John Boehner’s Office to object to his hiring of the e Rebecca Tallent Amnesty supporting individual.
Even more important, tell his office that you will be calling other Representatives asking them to remove Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Eric “Kid Amnesty” Cantor from their respective positions.
Good Replacement Speaker and Majority Leader, Representatives Steve Stockman of TX and Steve King of IA.

Orly,
Again, all American Citizens are to call their respective Representatives to deliver the message to remove Boehner and Cantor from their respective positions:
… and most importantly, when/if Boehner and Cantor react, to change their minds, or capitulate to American Citizen input…:
AMERICAN CITIZENS YOU MUST CONTINUE ON TO REMOVE THESE TWO INDIVIDUALS FROM OFFICE. AMERICAN CITIZENS; DO NOT ACCEPT ANY FUTURE APOLOGIES FROM BOEHNER OR CANTOR. REMOVE THEM FROM THEIR POSITION AS BOTH DO NOT CARE FOR THE EVOLVEMENT FUTURE OF INDIVIDUAL AMERICAN CITIZENS.
Sincerely,
Larry Driscoll
